RAPID ANTIGEN TEST
This test determines if you are actively infected with the virus or not. The rapid COVID-19 antigen test detects specific proteins that are bound to the virus. Using a nasal swab to obtain a sample, antigen tests can produce accurate results in minutes. No need to run the sample to a lab or wait days for the results. With TEST IN MINUTES the professionals from our lab go to your home, office or place of choice and give you the results in less than 15 minutes.

What is the process like?
We ensure a quick and pain free testing experience for all our patients. Our technicians are dispatched to your home, office or place of choice. You will receive a call 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment with the precise arrival time. Once the technician arrives the whole process takes approximately 10 minutes or less. A noninvasive nasal sample is collected and stored safely. The technician will ask you to fill out the consent form that will have all your pertinent information. We even include your passport number as an extra measure for those traveling abroad. Your sample is brought back to the lab where your test is processed and your RT-PCR lab report is emailed to you within 2 hours.

1. Why should I get an Antigen test?
An antigen test can quickly determine if you have the virus and need to self-quarantine.
2. How quickly will I receive the results of an Antigen test?
You will generally receive the results of your antigen test within 15 minutes.
3. Are COVID-19 antigen tests accurate?
COVID-19 antigen tests are very accurate when they return positive results. However, this test does have a higher rate of returning false negatives than the PCR nasal swab test, which is sent to a lab for processing.
4. What is the antibody test?
Antibody tests can help reveal past exposure by detecting antibodies in the blood, which are produced in response to a specific infection like COVID-19. Read more about COVID-19 on the CDC’s website.
5. Who administers the test?
One of our highly trained healthcare personnel will administer the test.
6. How long before you can expect results?
Results are expected within 15 mins.
7. What does it mean if you test positive for COVID-19 antibodies?
Testing positive indicates that you have likely had contact with COVID-19 in the past, even if you never showed any symptoms or have already recovered. Antibody testing should not be used for diagnosis or infection status.
8. What if I test negative for antibodies?
Testing negative for antibodies indicates that you are unlikely to have been infected with COVID-19 in the past.
9. I experienced symptoms in the past but they are gone now. What can this test show?
Testing positive for antibodies indicates that you have likely contracted COVID-19 in the past.
10. I have not experienced any symptoms but am curious if I may have had COVID-19 in the past. What can the antibody test show?
Testing positive for antibodies indicates that you have likely contracted COVID-19 in the past.
